Chesapeake Broiled Scallops
1 1/2 lbs. fresh scallops
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp. lime juice
1 stick butter
1/4 cup dry vermouth
1 tsp. hot sauce
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper
Preheat oven to broil. Place scallops in a baking dish. In a small
saucepan melt butter and add lime juice, garlic, hot sauce and
vermouth. Drizzle mixture over scallops. top with seasoned salt,
white pepper, and paprika. Broil for 3-5 minutes on each side.
