Note to Ian and any other ex-pat Brits living in France.

I heard on the news that in order to celebrate 100 years of the entente
cordiale, the British were invited to help celebrate Bastille Day.

As a watcher of 'Yes, Minister' -

"We wouldn't want this information to fall into the hands of our enemies!"
"Yes, it wouldn't do to let the Russians have it!"
"No, Minister, not the Russians, I meant the French, of course!"

I have to wonder how all this plays in France.
