Is there a such thing as imitation escargot(snails)?
If there is, then where can I buy them. Thank you for your time.

My friend Pierre-Phillipe tells me that real escargot is Bordeaux
snails, but that if you're not careful when buying your snails you can end
up with some other breed of large snail from eastern europe that doesn't
taste as good.
Does that count?
What exactly do you propose to do with them? I mean you can get rubber
fakes of just about any food if you're willing to pay the price. Personally
I'd rather have real escargot and eat it, with plenty of butter and garlic.

You can always go to the garden and get some slugs. Same thing, no shell.

You can freely use shrimp in any recipe for escargot.

Unless you're allergic to shrimp. I love shrimp, it's just that they
make me die.

Get anitgen injections: My clinic does a lot of them and they work very
well to desensitize you.
If you send me an email I will have one of my underlings get back to you
with the info.
