Ingredients:
4 eggs yolk
4 spoonfulls of flour
4 spoonfulls of sugar
4 glasses of milk
Cocoa powder 50 grams
1 skin of a lemon
Savoiardi (ladyfinghers?)
Alchermes
Milk
Prepare the cream mixing yolks and sugar. Add milk and flour stirring. Add
the peel of the lemon.
Cook the cream stirring until it becomes smooth and creamy.
Take off the peel and divede the cream in two. In one part add the cocoa
powder.
Mix alchermes and milk. Eual proportion or mor milk if you want a less
alchoolic zuppa inglese.
Cut the savoiardi (ladyfingers) in two and dip them into the mmilk/alchermes
mix.
Cover a "mold" for cakes with savoiardi (bottom and sides).
Spread part of the white cream on the bottom, add a layer of savoiardi and
then the black cream and another layer of savoiardi. Continue until the
chream is finished and cover with a final layer of savoiardi.
Leave in fridge for a couple of hours before serve.

Alchermes is a liquor. You should be able to find it in stores. If you are
not come back and I'll give you the recipe. It's prepared with cinnamon,
vanilla, mace, cardamom and some ather ingredients.
