Cost is immaterial, try convincing your partner that it's a state of the art
BBQ and it's a must have :-)
The engines can cost around $2000 each and the kit easily in the $2000
region making $6000 before you even think about assembling and painting the
kit. Then there's the radi control apparatus and the ancilliary equipment
that the miniature turbines need to function correctly.
Love to have one even a single engines plane but I can't justify the cost
:-(

Go with a prop model. Engine about $150 to $250, radio $300, plane kit
about $75.
Toss in another $100 for odds & ends.

Nice video, Steve. It looks like they may have cut in some stock flight
footage in the middle. Hope not, but it looks that way in Premiere.
