Widdle Pud? - CLICK HERE for the Cooking Forum Index

I haven't been reading this newsgroup for quite a while and am just getting
back into it. Whatever happened to the lady who used a sig that mentioned
a "widdle widdle pud" (it was a kitten that she brought home and her small
child called it that). Is she still around? How about those posts
supposedly by a woman who was travelling around with her friend who won a
bunch of money in a contest or something, and the posts would always be
about something odd her friend did (like drag a poodle around with them)
and have recipes included? My, have I been out of it for a while or what!

Mary f. I haven't seen anything from here in a long time. She did
keep the rfc FAQ thing going for a time even after she faded away from
the rest of the discussion, I believe.

According to Google Groups, the last time maryf posted was in Feb. 2002.
You could try her old email address -

Mary Frye. She's making candles (I think ) and soap now.

And Whatshername's friend was CherylAnne, I think.

I think you're talking about Buffy Lyer. I've never developed an
appreciation for her work, and it's rumored that Buffy may not be just one
person.

I went bye-bye for nearly two years, but there's always something that
brings me back home. :)

Welcome back!

That sounds like a tasty pudding.

She used to be active on an cat group as well but hasn't been there for
quite some time either. I hope that she's ok and just taking a hiatus
from usenet for a while.

thoroughly used up, worn out and screaming, "WHOO HOOOOO, what a ride!"

There was more than one joke about "pud thai".

Thanks for the welcome. I was reading other newsgroups for quite a while,
got really busy, had a divorce in the last part of 2004, moved into my own
house, and now I have some time on my hands to think about cooking more
than just toast and canned soup.
