I don't drink coffee, Pavy. But, now that you mention it, I've been
wondering something. Would coffee taste good with marshmallows in it?
As won who doesn't touch the stuff, I'll have to rely on my fellow
usenet posters to carry out this experiment and let me know the answer.
ps. i know you don't have a lot of money to spend on scientific
research, Wavy G, so feel free to exclude yourself from carrying out
this particular experiment.

Or you can use whipped cream, ice cream (flavored or vanilla) . . .

marshmallows are basically sugar (with a bit of vanilla?)...so marshmallows
in coffee would be nothing special.

If you are going to commit sacrilege of that order, DO NOT refer to the
resultant evil muck as COFFEE!

Correction: If you put marshmallows in it, it then ceases to be coffee
and becomes undrinkable, evil muck.

Get a life, Nicholas, I usually drink mine black (and once in awhile
with half n half and sugar) and I know Dennis, who is a well-respected
member of San Diego's home roasters club and probably knows more about
coffee than you suspect.
In fact, I have never even seen a post of yours in alt.coffee where a
lot of professionals and serious coffee people hang out.
So, you're entitled to your opinion, but until we learn a fact or two
about you, I'll take Dennis' opinion over yours every time.

So?
I'm sorry ... I didn't realise that posting in alt.coffee was a
prerequisite to being considered a "serious coffee people"

Pointless exercise. With your attitude you wouldn't give anything I told
you - fact or fantasy - any credence anyway. Closed shop.

Old Boys' Network. Heaven forfend that any newcomer, however ignorant or
knowledgeable, should be accorded a hearing.
Christ! I hope you are not spokesman for the group!

Just a post before I go
To whom it may concern ("Nicolaas Hawkins")

It's easy to get burned:

And you expressed it. And it received the mockery and summary dismissal
that it deserved. What exactly is the problem?

Someone else already had so rather than repeat something you should have
seen I decided to add further content because you are not the only one
reading the replies and others might use your post as a jumping off point.
Or do you need repetition so you can remember what you have read?
