Hiya Alan,
the news went round in germany that Verizon does no longer accept mail
from several foreign countries including Germany.
So I tried to reach you (or rather Kaari) and yes, our mail is put on
hold and not delivered.
So for all verizon-users: if you miss mail it might be you ISP who has
no a very weird politic of accepting mail.
Carmen
PS: the article that alerted me was
http://www.heise.de/tp/r4/artikel/19/19225/1.html
Sorry, german only

Anyone who'd like to can try translating it with
http://world.altavista.com/babelfish/tr
It should be good enough to convey the essence.

Ever wonder about those people who spend $2.00 apiece on those little
bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backwards...

Honestly, I didn't even try it. Maybe I should?! ;-)

Hi Carmen,
We are still here, less than more. Yes, we were made aware of Verizon's
slight case of stupidity. Kaari has talked with Verizon about the problems.
It has also caused us havoc in NL, FI, S, not to mention CA. Hopefully, they
have gotten the message and have completely resolved it.
I was thinking about you guys this past Saturday. While the SBF was spending
a couple of Saturday hours at the office, I walked down the street to the
Pike Place Market. I stopped at Uli's and had a brat. Then I walked over to
Bavarian meats. I came armed with her shopping list. A few weiners, eight
smoked brats and a pound of landjager.
Also got some really fresh Alaska Spot Prawns.
Hope this finds you and Rainer well and had a great holiday season. Our best
to you both.
Alan
