I don't watch it. The SO and our friends do. I'll hang around the tube for
awhile, eat and then sneak off. I like equestrian competitions, raquet ball
and soccer. I also like to watch the Blues hockey team and go to the games
frequently.

There's only one other mystery that's perplexed the world's masses more:
The Spinx.

Are you kidding?! I'm going to have the three daughter-units making a
batch! It'll keep _THEM_ entertained and out of the Boobtube Room! I'll
actually get to see a football game in peace finally!

Wanna know how boring I am? My favorite televised sport is bowling.
Haven't seen it in years, though.

My suggestion for this afternoon ... bake Ranger Cookies. <G>

Do they think it's cool that there is a cookie named after their Daddy?
Hint: if you make these on a humid day, they're likely to fall apart. In
which case, you sprinkle the crumbs on ice cream, or use them to make a pie
crust. Miche from New Zealand can vouch for these.

I've heard the Sphinx has a McDonalds about 500 yards from it. I have yet
to go to Egypt but I am not sure I really want to from the reports I have
heard from friends ;)

Bowling!? Is bowling even considered a sport?

I may just bake some Damsel Dumplings this afternoon.

Enjoy Ranger. All hell is about to break loose here. I can't move around
very well so the SO is greeting the guests and the food will be self serve
as well as the drinks. The bar is open, anyone is welcome.

Reminds me of a cake recipe of my grandmother's I tried a few years ago. I
don't remember the name of the cake. It was like a double chocolate cake
made with a European cocoa and semi sweet chocolate bars. I got the recipe
from her and made it. What a flop it was. I followed the recipe exactly
(imagine that). I called her. She goes "What was the temperature"-"What was
the humidity"-"How far in the air is your condo"... on and on. Hell, by the
time she was through, I should have adjusted every ingredient in the
recipe. I don't have time to analyze the entire world while making a cake
from scratch ;)

I *think* so. I also enjoy watching paint dry (I've been decorating
lately).

Well, they are all watching the game, munching and chugging. I am in the
dining room on the craptop. I will not get to it today but the dumplings
will be made next week sometime <big evil grin>

<G> My ego, and id, thank you.

The daughter-units (and four niece-units) made a triple-batch. I'll be
enjoying the remainder tomorrow and Tuesday in my lunches. The rest
never made it out of the kitchen... Six happy, though very miserable,
girl-units followed...

LOL! Been there, done that. Those are flippin' good cookies, aren't they?

I've got a recipe for tortilla roll-ups that virtually everyone eats until
they're sick the first time they try them. Say the word, and I'll post it.
