Back in the late 90s, I posted a recipe to this group (I think) called
"7 grain Italiano." As I have lost my cook books, I would like to have
another copy of it. I can remember the most of it, but there is
something missing, which I can't remember.
If anybody has it, I would really appreciate a copy. Thanks.

Sorry. I googled for all posts by "ec Roberts" with grain in the
subject and found nada, except a black powder post.

Ever wonder about those people who spend $2.00 apiece on those little
bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backwards...

Who were you in those days? Google has no hits for "7 grain
Italiano", but if you take off the Italiano - there are
three threads. The closest thing to a recipe that I found
(quick look only) was this:

I recently came across a recipe for what looks like a good
bread. It calls for 2 1/2 cups of flour and 3/4 cup 7 grain
mix. My question is, does anyone know what 7 grain mix is?
Is it a breakfast cereal? Or is it a blend of 7 different
types of flours?

I have a bread cookbook that contains a similar recipe. It
has a note that "7 grain mix" is available at health food
stores.

Thanks,
Andrew

I've been ec Roberts for some 60 odd years, now, so that one should
have had a hit, if it was still out there. I know I posted it, because
I received replies to it, mostly complaining about the use of heart as
the meat. The thing is, I can't remember if I was still using Gopher,
or had moved over to the Web by then. I know it was just about the time
of the conversion/explosion of WWW.
Ah, well, guess I'll have to start experimenting, again. Isn't near as
much fun, now that all the kids are gone and I'm cooking mostly for
only myself.
Tomato sauce with Italian twist and someting special
Kashi (the uncooked, whole grain type)
Heart, chunked and seared
It will come to me.
Thanks
Pops
