Wow, Andy. Besides cross-posting, you're now engaged in a blatant lie.
AFAIK, Bob has never asserted that Hitler is his hero. Your lie is very
"un-Christian", but understandable given your current state of mind (you're
clearly upset by Bob's posts, but that does not justify lying).

If you could provide some links to posts where Bob asserts his admiration
for Hitler, perhaps you'd care to share them?

Otherwise, the "Christian" thing to do would be to apologize for your
ill-tempered slander.

v. lied, ly·ing, (lng) lies
v. intr.
1.To present false information with the intention of deceiving.
2.To convey a false image or impression: Appearances often lie.

So where exactly is Dr. Chung's intent of deceiving? Gee, isn't
Bob's original post right above Dr. Chung's post? I.e., Bob speaks
for himself, doesn't he? Are you possibly lying yourself by falsely
accusing another of lying?

Just asking.

He lied when he asserted that Hitler is Bob's hero...that meets the
definition you've posted ("to convey a false image or impression").

Of course, you could also call it "hyperbole in the service of Christ"...in
the psychiatric profession that's known as "positive reframing" (something
Chung does quite often). But I'm no shrink, so I'll continue to call it a
lie (unless Andy can come up with a link showing where Bob posts anything
admiring about Hitler).

Lord Christ teaches from Matthew 5:

11“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely
say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad,
because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they
persecuted the prophets who were before you.

But that's the point, Andy...you clearly did not "write truthfully" when you
wrote that Bob admires Hitler. To prove that you wrote truthfully, all you
would have to do is provide us with some links to any posts where Bob stated
an admiration for Hitler. But, you can't do so...instead, you simply repeat
yourself (as if that will make the lie go away).

However, given your mental state, I can certainly understand your reticence
in admitting your error.

No.

From the "Ask Moses" web site:=20
<http://search1.askmoses.com:5001/askmoses/ui.jsp>

<<<<<<<<< begin quote >>>>>>>>>>
You asked: What does "omer" literally mean in Hebrew?
=09
Best Answers =09
What is the counting of the Omer?
We count forty-nine days from this offering. [In Hebrew, the word Omer=20
literally means a certain weight measure; the required amount of=20
barley for this sacrifice. ] One is supposed to count the Omer at night.
<<<<<<<< end quote >>>>>>>>>>>>

Apparently this web site is Chung's "a good soul who corrected" him -=20
but oh, look, Chung does his normal editing and snipping to make it=20
mean what he wants it to... read the next section here.

<<<<<<<<< begin quote >>>>>>>>>>
What is the literal meaning of Lag b=92Omer?
=94The omer refers to the barley offering that was offered in the Temple =

on the second day of Passover, the day we start counting the 49 days.=20
(Omer literally refers to the amount of barley that was offered. An=20
omer is the equivalent of approximately two quarts.)
<<<<<<<<<<< end quote >>>>>>>>

Ooops. Looks like Chung is wrong. Stop the presses. Not one quart like=20
he's trying so hard to assert - 32 ounces - but at least twice that.=20
There goes the 2PD-Omer hilarity. There's some disparity between=20

Only Chung's perfervid dreaming arrives at that conclusion.

<LOL> This is even funnier than when he was still slightly sane.
Chung's deliberate falsifications are still in the notes (above) that
he wrote... and then he says he writes honestly. It's beyond sad. It's
tragically, and apparently irretrievably, funny in a most macabre way.

He posted this following quote to everyone who offered detailed
information about what an omer actually is:

"I stand corrected not by you but by a kind soul who has informed
me that 'omer' in Hebrew literally means 'a certain unit of weight.'
So an 'omer' probably was about 2 pounds (or almost 1 kilogram)
because that is all that someone needs to reach and maintain 'ideal'
body weight, ime:"

This anonymous "expert" told him something that was simply wrong, if
indeed there ever was a correspondent at all. Chung's catalogs of lies
and posturings are legendary. He decided to accept the words of "a
kind soul" in the face of many other reliable sources. Why? Because it
let him not admit a mistake and because he could bring his OCD
Scrupulosity to bear on his absurd diet and begin to claim it has a
divine approval.

> Also, note that Exodus 16:16 reminds us that 16 oz plus 16 oz makes
> 2 pounds, which is "a certain measure of weight," which is what
> "omer" literally means in Hebrew.

Poor, bizarre Chung. Omer is a unit of volume. Always has been; always
will be. It only translates into weight in a specific Jewish holiday
where barley is measured into a container that holds one omer. The
barley always weighs the same given the constant volume of the container.

And that strange 16:16 number foolishness only makes him look even
more disjunctive from reality than the rest of his ravings do.

Chung has been shown that an omer is 3.7 liters from biblical scholars
and from both primary and secondary sources. He so, so desperately
wants his wacko 2PD to be the brainstorm he inflatedly imagines it to
be that all reason has deserted him and all honesty with it.

So, his 2PD...
First it was what Mt.Everest climbers eat, he said, based on his
seeing an IMAX film.

Then it was still a good idea even after some reasonable people raised
questions about how 2 pounds of food a day was the perfect
prescription for everyone; people wanting to lose weight and people
trying to maintain their weight. He insisted and began spamming other
groups with his "message."

Then he said to temper it with a little common sense; don't just eat
two pounds of chocolate or sugar a day. Common sense undefined.

Then it was check with your doctor. Chung seems to have come
approximately to reality and realized the liability that his medical
advice raises for him. So he changed his story to cover his ass.

All along it has been that there have been no failures or dropouts.
Suddenly he says it has about 90,000 people all over the world doing
it and if anyone dropped out, he would hear about it.

Then it became a "lifestyle change." Just like all the other weight
loss notions are.

Now it's divinely inspired and supported by his blatant, deliberate
distortion of biblical references - an omer is 3.7 liters; no ifs ands
or buts about it.

Oh, Exodus 16:16 says:
"This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded, Gather of it
everyman according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to
the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in
his tents."

Since we have no knowledge of what manna is - and that's what they
were gathering "an omer for every man" - we have no idea how much it
weighed or what its nutrient content was. No idea of calories. No idea
if it made people gain or lose weight. Just no idea...

Poor, poor, delusional Chung.

In truth, I did not write that Bob admires Hitler. That was how you
chose to interpret what I have written.

It seems that you could "prove" why *you* believe the "he" in "he's my
hero" is Hitler by the subject of Bob's post. That does not mean it is
what I believe.

Truth is invariant.

It remains my choice to write truthfully. Sorry.

You will remain in my prayers, dear Gary, whom I love, in Lord Christ's
holy name.

May you accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior, someday, so that
you too will have eternal life and the unimaginable riches of His
infinite kingdom.

Here's how:

http://makeashorterlink.com/?I22222129

Please note that God truly made this special link describing that He is
the great "I am" and that His message is as simple as the number 2 which
is a number between 1 to 9 and reminds us of His 2 commandments, the 2
arms of the cross, the 2nd part of the Trinity, the 2 finger sign of the
Prince of Peace [who remains *V*ictorious over death and satan], and the
2PD Approach. Let it not ever be written that Christ did not make His
presence known here on Usenet :-)

Also, note that Exodus 16:16 continues to remind us that 16 oz plus 16
oz makes 2 pounds, which is "a certain measure of weight," which is what
"omer" literally means in Hebrew.

<LOL> Right. It bothers *me* so much that *you* delete the harsh
spotlight of truth. Right?

You've taken a bad idea and heaped insanity on top of inanity. 2PD
zaniness along with an invented biblical reference that strains to be
anything but uproariously hilarious in its absurdity. A second storey

Could you be more of a self-besotted clown...?

Rhetorical...

Absolutely wonderful. Res ipsa loquitur. Chung says he writes
truthfully when his lies are at the top of the post.

Neither I nor Gary said what Chung indicates as quotes. He changed
what we each and both wrote and what we meant. And he did it with his
normal and obvious malicious intent.

Poor Chung is high on the drug of hyper-egotism.

The life unexamined is not worth living. The bad part for Chung is
that the examination needs to be honest for it to be meaningful.

Poor, poor Chung.

Yet again, Lord Christ teaches from Matthew 5:

11Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely
say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad,

persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Also, note that Exodus 16:16 continues to remind us that 16 oz plus 16
oz makes 2 pounds, which is "a certain measure of weight," which is what
"omer" literally means in Hebrew.

As always, Lord Christ teaches from Matthew 5:

11Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely
say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad,
because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they
persecuted the prophets who were before you.

You will remain in my prayers, dear Bob, whom I love, in Lord Christ's
holy name.

May you accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior, someday, so that
you too will have eternal life and the amazing riches of His infinite
kingdom.

Here's how:

Please note that God truly made this special link describing that He is
the great "I am" and that His message is as simple as the number 2 which
is a number between 1 to 9 and reminds us of His 2 commandments, the 2

Prince of Peace [who remains *V*ictorious over death and satan], and the
2PD Approach. Let it not ever be written that Christ did not make His

It seems you would try to "intercept" God's blessings.

This is encouraging because it would indicate that you are starting to
believe in Him, otherwise your efforts would be in vain.

You still have a way to go, however, because even satan and satan's
underlings believe in Him.

You will remain in my prayers, dear Bob, whom I love, in Lord Christ's

Do you have any idea how crazy you sound to normal people, Andy?

I urge you to seek out a competent therapist or psychiatrist and have your
mental state professionally assessed at your earliest opportunity.

I wonder just how surprised Andy would be if he stood at that Gate and were
told "Depart from me, I know you not!" as were the hypocrites in Luke
13:23 -29? There were many who were similarly smug who just didn't get it;
that being a Christian was much more than lip service and self-righteous
proclamations. Satan can quote the Bible better than any Christian, and
Andrew's hollow sound eerily similar to Satan's scriptural challenges to
Jesus while He was in the wilderness 40 days and nights. Jesus said that
"if I be lifted up I will draw all men unt me." How many has Andrew drawn
to Him with his annoying, rulebreaking posts? How many has he turned away
from Him? Many more, I daresay. The sad part is, the fool probably really
believes that he is doing right. The fall will be a hard one for him when
it comes.

The parable of the narrow door is not about hypocrisy but about those
who would reject that Christ is the way, the truth, and the life (John
14:6). That He is the narrow door to the Father, Who is in Heaven. Such
folks believe that they will receive salvation through their own "good"
works rather than through accepting Christ as their personal Lord and
Savior thereby being "born again."

Lord Jesus teaches from John 3:

5Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of
God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. 6Flesh gives birth to
flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7You should not be
surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 8The wind blows
wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it
comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the
Spirit.”

> There were many who were similarly smug who just didn't get it;

There are many who are unable to discern the truth independent of
whether they are smug or not.

> that being a Christian was much more than lip service and self-righteous
> proclamations.

In truth, the public announcement of one's personal choice to accept
Christ as one's personal Lord and Savior is a God-righteous proclamation
rather than a self-righteous one.

It seems that self-worshippers have considerable difficulty in
distinguishing God from self.

> Satan can quote the Bible better than any Christian,

Actually, he misquotes the Bible because he has fallen away from God's
Word. For this reason, he is easily defeated by Christ and all who walk
with Him.

> and
> Andrew's hollow sound eerily similar to Satan's scriptural challenges to

It seems you have me confused with Pastorio who has misquoted the Bible.

It seems you now have me confused with Lord Jesus. Truly, I am a mere
servant and my Lord has me here to inform. Please consider yourself
duly informed.

My Lord has reassured me "This is why I told you that no one can come to
me unless the Father has enabled him" (John 6:65). Though many have
turned back, it remains my choice to continue my walk with Him.

Those who turn away do so of their own free will and because the Father
has not enabled them (John 6:65).

Lord Christ is "the narrow door" through which only a few will be able
to pass.

It remains my choice to continue my walk with Christ and learn from Him.

Fyi, coveting is a sin. You are certainly welcome to join in walking
with Christ instead of coveting this.

You will remain in my prayers, dear Peter, whom I love, in Lord Christ's
holy name.

May you accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior, someday, so that
you too will have eternal life and the unimaginable riches of His
infinite kingdom.

Here's how:

Enter the 2PD-OMER Approach:
