I have *still* not been accepted into the hospital. It is 4am. I'm still
covered in dogs and cat. I'm snacking on mini reubens (good stuff) Gawd the
waiting time is hard. I need to get this done before next weekend. Dammit,
I don't want my trip delayed again. I want food in CA and Boulder. I want
Mexican food ;)
Missy and Shelly are at my feet. Hoot is on the monitor and I have a plate
of mini reubens on the desk. The dogs beg (Shelly learned this from Missy)
constantly. They get nothing. My cat just sits in the lap or lays on the
chest.
Ob Food
We had pastrami from the local deli tonight. Rye bread, mustard, kraut and
swiss. Was good. I bought mini rye bread for snacks.

Did I miss something, Michael? Why the hospital again? Poor you, will
this ever end? Best of luck and warm thoughts!

It's just hip stuff. No surgery. It's not serious. I'm just frustrated I'm
not scheduled yet.
Ob Food:
Making pancakes this morning. Think I'll do bacon and eggs with 'em. I like
my eggs over easy. It's raining and gloomy here this morning and Steven is
driving me all over the place. Maybe we'll just go out for breakfast...
Hmmm... chicken fried steak sounds good too.

I broke my pelvis but it's getting much better. Not sure what the doctors
want to do. I'm much more mobile than I was. There is really nothing they
can do about it so I don't know why they want me back in. The break was in
a very good spot and nothing could be done about it at the time except a
lot of rest. I'm just tired of being messed with.

I'm re-living the joys of pan fried ham dipped in runny fried eggs this
morning. I had forgotten how good that is. Real ham not that processed
stuff that has a skin.

I understand - it's just that a good friend of mine (when we were
about sophomores in high school) was hit by a city police car
(medical expenses were obviously taken care of) and had a broken
pelvis, among other injuries. IIRC, he didn't exactly think it was a
piece of cake at the time. He was in a full-body cast for several
weeks. YMMV. Jeez, I hope you get back on ur feet soon.

Well, sorry you have to go, but very glad it's not something new!

It's sunny and will be a warm day here, but I'd still like that breakfast!

Oh, that's so good! There's a tiny dner-type place I usually go to after
church that serves a fried ham slice almost the size of a dinner plate.
That, along with over-medium eggs, and wonderful home fries really complete
the morning.
