Question about storing peanut oil and moisture - CLICK HERE for the Cooking Forum Index

I got a turkey frier recently and had my first attempt at using it last
night. When I was finished cooking I filtered the oil as suggested for
future use. I notice however that some water got into the oil via the
container I used to transfer it from when filtering.

Would this pose any health risk in the way of bacteria or other
contamination?

I'm thinking of taking the oil and heating it up again to boil it out
but not sure if this is necessary. I planned on using all this oil
within 30 days.
