Well, it's official. We're dining in tonight. We worked for hours outside
today and we are very tired.
I went to the store and had 2 16oz sirloin strips cut for us. I'll marinade
them with olive oil, teriyaki sauce, cracked pepper and ginger for about 45
minutes and then put them on the grill. I bought some really nice
asparagus. I'm torn between grilling the asparagus as is, or wrapping it
in bacon and grilling it. Either way we'll have a home made hollandaise
sauce for dunking the asparagus in. Baked potato on the grill with sour
cream, and chives from the garden, is another side. No salad tonight but I
made some killer gazpacho this morning and I'll serve some of that. We'll
have fresh strawberries for dessert and for my midnight snack I'll make a
cranberry and orange or a strawberry banana smoothie. If I'm up really
late, I'll pop some popcorn.
