Ya don't want them to! The presence of "Dolls Eyes" is one of the signs
of intact neurological function.
When we do brain death studies we look for those eyes to go in the
direction that the head is turned.
Have another drink :)

Nah, that bottle's gone. I'm fine now. Thanks.

'sokay - if I *had* drank the wine before the meal, we probably would
have eaten much as you described! LOL! It's now just a fun memory.

The dinner? It was okay. I'm a pretty boring cook. I needed to get
some of that stuff out of the freezer; the chicken breast turned up at
another meal.

Good point, get a bit of abitude and you'll be fine even with a
whole bottle.
Monday or Tueesday (I can't remember) evening, after having
drained a sixpack of heineken as an entree, I and a friend had a
bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and one of Morellino di
Scansano on a dish of spaghetti and a dish of roast ribs.
No dessert, but a lil' glass of liquor came useful anyway.
Nobody was drunk, maybe a bit more "vocal" than usual, and no
hangover the day after (thanks God the wines were good).
Gonna get my liver examinated soon.
