Yeah, don't blame you--Why WOULD this many people respond to one of
Gaza's on-a-roll "How dopey can I make the post and *still* make
crosspost groups my own personal bi-yatch?" threads, anyway?

Always happens one thread out of five--never two, never three, and,
unfortunately, never zero--and DON'T think science isn't out there
trying to find a cure for it...

Well, my first impulse was of course to consider the thread's author,
and to run through town snarling and shaking it in my teeth, finally
tossing its broken husk into the recycle-bin of false hopes.

But, there *is* this thing about blind squirrels occasionally finding
acorns... and I meanwhile decided that the "true" food-ize challenge was
not the trivial one of punning one's pantry into a marquee, but rather
of devising a response that technically satisfied, but was creatively
orthogonal to, the original game. (My own contribution somewhat
illustrates the point, though not nearly as well as a few others.)

Not bad for five-and-a-half, huh...
