For this weekend at the Feed Bag, the management decided to have a "Caviar
Breakfast". I didn't think it would go over well, but was quite surprised.
It was extremely well received and the following dish got such rave reviews
from customers, we are considering making it a permanent dish on our
breakfast menu. It retails for only $12.95 -- a delightfully different,
inexpensive breakfast treat.
1 poached egg
smear on a teaspoon of mustard
season with a pinch of kosher salt and white pepper
arrange a circle of lardones around the egg
top with 3 thin circular banana slices and 3 circular jalapeno slices
add a dollop of vanilla yogurt
sprinkle a teaspoon of caviar onto the yogurt
garnish with diced green onion

That's an imaginative spoof, but didn't you forget the crispy potato
latke under the poached egg? And the 3 perfect raspberries perched
inside the jalape=F1o rings? The coffee is French roast, I assume.
