I'm having trouble finding any recipes I can use. I haven't had a
piece of bread in more than a year, and ALL of the gluten-free
cookbooks and companies use gum-based formulations.
Can anyone help me find a non-yeast, gluten free bread recipe that DOES
NOT contain some form of gum? Gum is a plant source allergy, and as
such, this may seem like an unusual place to post. However, the members
of your forum seem to have a diverse range of knowledge, and I'm hoping
someone might have a suggestion.
I've already tried every gluten-free company, organization, and
cookbook I can find. All of them rely on gum bases for their recipes.
Not even the major celiac groups have any products or recipes to offer.
People with this particular allergy have been left behind, and I'm
trying to come up with viable recipes.

2. Sell to others with your problem.
3. Profit.
or:
1. Learn to like rice, corn, etc. If you must replace
wheat, use grits, corn meal, rice flour, buckwheat, etc.
2. Oatmeal
3. Millet
4. Taro?
5. Sago?
6. Manioc?
7. Etc.

Try a search for 'celiac' disease... most of the sites will have gluten free
recipes or where to find them...

Bill,
Thanks for writing. However, that's a dead end.
All of the gluten free recipes use gum as an ingredient. I'm searching
for recipes that don't.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
