Prestzel recipe - CLICK HERE for the Cooking Forum Index
Tom or Mary
I was wondering if anyone had a favorite recipe for pretzels. I using make a
yeast dough, and then shape the pretzels, boil them in water with baking
soda (although a German woman suggested lye), and sprinkle salt, and bake in
an oven of about 400 until they turn golden brown.

Thanks

Tom

I use the recipe from JOC (Joy of Cooking). It works great, and
makes terrific bagels as well.
