Ypu may want to visit your asian food market and ask them if they have replacement wok burners. I'm in dayton and bought one for about 20 bucks. That said be careful if you are using propane as their's are usually for nat gas. I used a stand from an old turkey cooker and mounted the burner in it. This site has the parts, but is more expensive than asian markets. How do you know if the asian market lied about it being propane? When you ignite the burner the flame will be large and yellow with a lot of black smoke rather than more of a bluish flame with small yellow tips.
This will supply the on demand burst of heat that you see in the asin restuarants. Their's usually have a foot contolled regulator. They don't stay on high continuously:) |
